At Packaging Island, our top priority is making sure you’re completely happy with your custom packaging. We produce every order with care, but we know sometimes a return or refund may be needed. Here’s our clear and simple return and refund policy to help you.
Who Can Return
Because we make every product to your exact requests, we ask you to double-check your order before you submit it. We can accept a return only in these situations:
– Defective Products: You get a product that is flawed or does not match the final artwork you approved.
– Production Errors: We print or cut your order in a way that does not match the approved design or the agreed-upon specs.
– Damaged Goods: The packaging arrives broken or marred due to shipping or handling.
What Can’t Be Returned
Some items can’t be returned or refunded, including, but not limited to:
– Customer-Submitted Errors: You place an order that has mistakes in spelling, design, or artwork you provided.
– Incorrect Measurements: The dimensions of the products are wrong because of the sizes you input and approved.
Return Policy Overview
– Used or Changed Products: Items that have been opened, used, or modified cannot be returned.
– No Defect Identified: We cannot accept returns if there is no manufacturing defect or printing mistake.
Steps to Request a Return or Reprint

2. Send Evidence: Include clear photos of the damaged, defective, or wrong products. This speeds up our review.
3. Investigation: Our team will check your photos and figure out what went wrong.
4. Resolution: If we confirm the issue, we will send you a free replacement order. In rare cases, we may issue a refund or store credit.
Refund Process
Once we get your return, we will email you to confirm we have received it. We will then check if the refund is eligible.
– Approved Refunds: If we approve your return, we will issue the refund, and you will see the credit in your original payment method within a few business days.
Refund Adjustments
When we find that defects or problems arise from the customer’s side, the refund we issue will not include the setup, printing, or shipping fees.
Return Shipping Costs
– Company Error: For defects from our side—like wrong prints or faulty items—Packaging Island will pay for return shipping and will either issue a full refund or send a free reprint.
– Customer Error: If a return happens because the customer sent the wrong design or selected the wrong size, the return shipping cost will be the customer’s responsibility.
Timeframe for Returns
– Return Window: Please let us know within 7 working days of receiving your order if you want to return it.
– Late Returns: If a return request comes after 7 days, we normally can’t accept it. We will look at exceptional cases, but each will be reviewed separately.
Order Cancellations
After we confirm your order and start production, it can’t be canceled. Here’s the rule:
– If you cancel within 4 hours of receiving our approval, you will pay a 5% fee.
– If you wait more than 4 hours, we’ve already started making your order, and we cannot accept the cancellation.
Dead on Arrival (DOA) Policy
If you receive products that are damaged or are missing items, please let us know within 3 business days of delivery. We will look into the matter and suggest a resolution based on the details you provide. Small imperfections like minor scratches or slight color changes don’t qualify for a return, unless they seriously affect how the product works.
